About
The War Museum Cambodia sits in Kaksekam Village, a few kilometres from central Siem Reap. Visitors walk freely among tanks, helicopters and artillery pieces left behind by three decades of war, resting in the vegetation.
These photographs were taken on site, without staging. Deprived of the hands that once served them, war machines become garden ornaments — that is the gaze this series proposes.
Photographs and text: Minh & Mara. The museum is open daily; the place is worth the journey.
